PTA Mission
Our PTA has a three-part mission:
- To facilitate communication between parents, administrators, teachers, and other groups.
- To fundraise in support of teaching and learning, which includes academic enrichment for students and professional development for teachers.
- To build a supportive, positive, healthy community for all the students and their families at LeConte.

PTA Meetings
PTA meetings are your “one-stop-shop” to learn about issues that are important to you and directly affect your child: programs and curriculum, school budget cuts and how they impact the classroom, how money is raised and where it is spent, and plans for special events and celebrations.
PTA meetings are your opportunity to provide input and vote on how money is raised and spent, make suggestions for new school projects, volunteer to help organize an event, as well as connect with other LeConte families.
Meetings start promptly in the Cafeteria at 6:00 and end at 7:30. Dinner and child care are provided. Meetings are also announced in The Lamppost, on the school website, and online in the LeConte Calendar.
