Camp Kesem Berkeley

Camp Kesem is a national non-profit for children who have or had a parent with cancer. They offer a summer camp experience for the children with a focus on fun for the kids and a break for the parents, who are often still in treatment. It also gives the kids an opportunity to meet other kids whose parents have a cancer diagnosis. They accept children for camp without regard for ability to pay, and it's free for the children and their families.  Camp Kesem Berkeley is run by students from UC Berkeley and is currently accepting applications (thru May 1st) for their 2011 summer camp (August 15th to 20th).  Applications can be found on their website.
