LeConte Annual Fund
Like most schools, LeConte runs an “annual fundraising” program every year through the PTA. In the fall, a letter is sent to all families asking for a cash gift to support our school programs. Every gift--from $5 to $1,500--counts, and together we have a tremendous impact on the quality of our children’s daily experience at school.
Last year we raised $25,000 through the Annual Fund and the One More Month Campaign . This year we want to hit $30,000.
Also new this year is the Class Fund. The purpose of the Class Fund is to offset the decreased amount of money the PTA will be spending (we have not budgeted any money for field trips this year) and is to be used by the teachers/classes that collected money to pay for field trips etc. The money will be collected through the PTA and then dispersed back to the teachers.
All donations are tax deductible. LeConte PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax ID #94-6172095.
Don’t forget to ask your employer if your company has a matching donation plan.
